Ronald DeLong is a local artist who was trained in painting and drawing at the York Academy of Art, York, PA, The Pennsylvania Academy of Arts, Philadelphia, PA, and the University of Salzburg in Austria and the Gloucester Academy of Arts in Gloucester, MA. He holds a Master Degree in Art Education from Kutztown University. The works of Mia Shock, Rosemarie Sloat, and John Terelak influence him. In addition, he has a love of the work by the noted artist Joan Miro. Over the years Ron’s style of art had continuously evolved. His recent work is held in private collections both here and abroad. He has completed several mural commissions over the years.
