In the fall of 2016 the Allentown Art Museum of the Lehigh Valley acquired a large mural painted by Franz Kline of his hometown, Lehighton, Pennsylvania, in 1945.

This video shows how the mural became part of the fabric of the community—located just a half-hour north of Allentown—and how the Museum restored and displayed Lehighton, now preserved and accessible to a general audience.
